Totally agree with you. Althought some fans will be disappointed with the 'new release'山豬, but the reality is that highly praised 'antique' items are not selling well when they're re-lease. Therefore it is rather risky to directly re-release 山豬, and the current movement of create a new three-speed is imho the best compromise.
One thing I notice is that it's usually Tamiya Japan web site first announce new items but this time it's the Tamiya USA. Nothing ever mentioned in the Japanese web sites about all those new items (such as the new TNX) even on Today. Just wonder if this new 山豬 is mainly a 'Foreign' effort. |
