hi Bro Bololo~ i had done the Refurbishmentof my 959 too~ i had put on the same 02H motor ~
please dont mind i would upload a lot of pic on your post~
My body is a lot better then yours, i will do the repainting job then... but anyway, got a new body is too expensive.

I surprise the lower rear arms are made by aluminium!!

Are thet tailor made by you or somebody? Possible to order the lower front arms?
Since the exisiting arms were broken before and just fixed by glue only!

original arm are really weak ... since , i wanna race this car.. so it worth to make this option.

You can order a replacement shell from UK, however, the details is not as good as the original Tamiya

then YES, I have a 959.

Give me some time to dig up some photos

I love this car, put a celica center differential in it. I think a good center diff is the essence of 959, just like the real 959.

I will look up some picture.

yes Bro mini~

i put on the nowaday 1:10 rally tire and the 26mm wheels.
it required the Hex adapter as Avante does.

the original tire size is strange ... M-size tire is too small .. and 1:10 tire is too big.

934 is not a good fit, the wheel base is not the same.

Sorry brother, the wheelbase of 934 is 190mm and 959 is around 210mm (measured by myself). Different is too big to fit.

I have 959 too, but one of the broken front arm is lost by a careless guy who said he can copy an aluminium one for me, but.....

, I have a nib body set, any bro. has the front arms? I want help!

Those should be polystyrene, which the whole car was made of. Too brittle.

I would try epoxy. However, the most common epoxy in HK is Aralite, which is not too good after a few years.

The best epoxy I have ever tried was 'JB Weld', not very common in HK.

Do NOT use any 5 min epoxy

, in general, 5 min epoxy is about 50% strength when compare with the slow cure epoxy (a few hours, depends on the temperature).

Oh! I think this is the one of most easy broken parts of 959 and rare in market even in Ebay.

Yes, those are acrylic resin (PMMA or polymethylmethacrylate resin), very strong, good for polystyrene material like 959. But only good for bonding plastic to plastic, got to be hard plastic too.
