Absolutely agree. Both have pros and cons. (torque, speed, flex, weight, layout design, saddle/stick pack, cost etc. etc.) There can be many many pros and cons. But agree with this C-Hing, its all about fashion and who won the recent world champion, and manufacturers changing fashion on us. But we like it right :::#%
A recent example, now people are saying GEAR diff is better than BALL diff >???
